It feels good to use Finger once again :') Now back to my current .PLAN: I finally managed to set up this mess. A stupid Docker container with Void Linux, with Lighttpd, SFTPGo and a bunch of bashscripts to simulate system users (symlinks). At first I wanted to use LXC but I'm stupid and I haven't managed to configure network access on the container I was doing so I ended up throwing that crap and ended using Docker instead. Why Docker and not just hosting all of that on the main system instead? Just because of security and also to make it "portable" so I can just deploy that container on other servers or even on my Raspberry Pi so I don't have to do all that crap of installing everything from scratch every time I reinstall a server. I'm currently wanting to rehost some good old HL servers and probably some other websites. Ah BTW, Q3Rally 0.5 got released days ago (https://github.com/Q3Rally-Team/q3rally/releases/tag/v0.5), after 3 years of inactivity. I haven't tried it yet but seems interesting. Most probably I will see if I can try to rehost that old Q3Rally server I used to run here soon.
